Seven women, 12,000 kilometers, and a lot of luggage – that’s how the story starts.

A place known for its palm trees, viral smoothies, and that sign, LA is where inspiring creatives, stylists, and industry tastemakers casually reside. A rather fitting place to host a DISSH styling suite and exclusive preview of our Vol. SS24 collection, don’t you think?

Last week, CEO Lucy Henry-Hicks and team upped their Frequent Flyer miles with a trip to the other side of the globe. Hosting an invite-only preview of our upcoming Vol. SS24 collection at The Edition Hotel in West Hollywood, they put DISSH on the Hollywood map over two whirlwind days. Jetlag was not invited but came along anyway.

Featuring a collection of curated looks styled with pieces set to drop over the coming months (watch this space). Vol. SS24 highlighted the latest of our signature styles across denim, tailoring, knitwear, and linen, in tones of chocolate, putty, and smokey greys – our chosen colours for the season ahead.

Presented to an intimate line-up of industry faces, creatives, and friends of the brand in a space we transformed into one of our own (with a little help from our LA-local styling partners Neue Maison, of course), our rooftop styling suite was a light, bright, and breezy airy oasis with 180-degree views. You have to admit, LA suits us.

Committed to bringing the DISSH experience to WeHo, key pieces from our Aussie stores were packed up and shipped over – even our signature store scent dispenser made the cut (it’s the little details). A clean, modern mix of layered neutral tones and contrasting textures – our signature style – set the scene, and just like that, our guests stepped into the world of DISSH.

We connected with friends of DISSH like Rachel Bilson, Nicole Chavez, Adut Akech, Tinx, Sheryl Luke, Kayla Seah, Kara Elkin and more. It was a full house where the conversations flowed, connections were made, and the selfies were on.

As a brand born and bred in the Sunshine State, we felt compelled to bring our quintessentially Aussie summer mood to the Hollywood Hills.
